Seriously, the HVAC Committee has researched the condition of our HVAC system, visited our neighbors next door (The Aliki) and reviewed their much improved HVAC system, consulted with experts to provide a plan for cost effective upgrading and requested that the Ocean Ritz board of directors approve the published upgrade plan to our ageing HVAC system

Yes...

Our board of directors has approved hiring Waterhouse to thoroughly clean our much neglected cooling tower (annually) and maintain our chemical treatment facility on a monthly basis.  In addition, the board of directors has approved hiring AMS Inc. (Automated Mechanical Services Inc.) to analyze our ageing HVAC system, provide a detailed written report defining what our HVAC problems are, suggested cost effective solutions, suggested priority upgrades and suggestions for annual maintenance activities designed to extend the life of our system. AMS has been on site several times since our August 7, 2009 flooding disaster and has already discussed cost effective upgrades to eliminate future flooding at the Ocean Ritz. Not only will our system be safer, we will save substantial operating expenses throughout the year with a more efficient system designed to extend the life of the cooling tower itself, a major cost item...

I want to personally thank everyone that has supported the HVAC Committee activities and the board members participating in this extensive effort to save our HVAC water distribution system, our $$$ and our sanity...

This site will be expanded as this program goes forward and will be updated with all planned project activities, specifications of work being done, results of work in progress and meeting reports already established for historical sake.
